We decided to have a large family lunch here on a super busy Sunday. They were able to accommodate our party of fourteen in two tables with one day's notice. The food didn't take long to cook after we ordered which was great Becki was super hungry. My favorite dishes were the beef fried rice because the beef was thinly sliced and chopped in a way that every bite had a little bit of marinated meat. The kids loved the XLBs and jook.

Usually our go to Dim Sum resto. They have all the options that we like. They are a bit pricey so just be aware. Service is fairly fast and during the week for lunch it's usually never a wait to get a table. Weekends are usually full of people. The place is nice and bright and lots of seating and good for large parties.

We've seen this place a few times and wanted to have some Chinese food, so in we went. The staff all speak very limited English but are super friendly and prompt with everything. Don't go there and expect small chit chat with anyone, just getting down to business and eating. The place was clean. The service was quick. The food was good. The Mongolian beef was really good and flavorful. The lemon chicken has a great taste but I don't think there was any chicken in it. It tasted like all breading which wasn't crispy at all. Think funnel cake texture. It wasn't good and we wouldnt get that again. The chow mein said combo which we assumed was beef, shrimp and chicken. Turns out it was seafood combo with chicken. It wasn't bad, just surprised. The only thing that brings this review down is the fact that they put an 18% service charge automatically on every check and don't tell you. Which is a little disturbing and feels deceiving. If you're going to charge me for a tip, don't expect me to tip you again. Put up signs that say 18% automatic charge or have it posted on the menu.

We decided to try out King Wah for my mom's birthday celebration. Oftentimes, we see a lot of customers waiting in front of the restaurant when we pass by. To our surprise, we were quickly seated when we arrived at the restaurant. There are stiff competition for Dum Sum supremacy in the area. You have the venerable Mayflower and Koi Palace nearby, and my favorite shumai among all them which is Golden Sand Harbor. King Wah though is almost all dim sum, whereas the other restaurants mentioned have other Chinese dishes. We ordered the standard fare: Shumai, Chicken feet, Dried Scallop Chow Mien, Salt & Pepper fish, Shrimp Dumplings, my daughter's favorite Xiao Long Bao, and a bit more. For the taste? Its absolutely good. If I can quantify it, it is about as good as the other more prominent Dum Sum restaurants around. I reckon that they have the best chicken feet around, the chow mien and scallop fried rice is very tasty and the rest were pretty strong. I would comment though that their shumai was some steps behind the other restaurants aforementioned. Abi liked the xiao long bao good because each is individually in a foil container. As far as for the wait and accessibility, King Wah is 100% much better than the rest. For a lunch at Mayflower or Koi Palace, expect to allocate at least an hour before you get to your table. I would very much go to King Wah and have our lunch immediately rather than stand for a while waiting for table on the other dim sum restaurants. Our server was nice. I do like to add the their water cups are easily tipped. It least 3 in our party had their water cups tipped and so does the table beside us. Overall, I really like King Wah for good dim sum and especially fast seating.

Decided to try this dim sum restaurant without looking at reviews. We were at the outlets and wanted lunch before shopping. We were actually thinking of eating at JB King in the food court, but they were closed! And this restaurant is right at the front door of this food court mall. It's pretty spacious and at the time we got there, there were tables available. We haven't had dim sum in ages, so it was a treat for us! Service was quick and tea pot was brought to us as soon as you tell them which tea you'd like. **OUR PICKS** BEEF CILANTRO RICE CREPES ~ we enjoyed these! The meat was spread thinly on the crepe and it was possibly minced or puréed like a paste before cooking. It gave it a soft texture with every bite. Flavor was good too! 5/5 PORK SHUMAI ~ these were good as any other tea house. Juicy, flavorful and decent size dumplings. 4/5 SHRIMP DUMPLINGS (Ha Gow) ~ I liked these! Big shrimp in each dumpling and tasty! 5/5 CHICKEN FEET ~ always really tasty and somewhat spicy at most tea houses and these were on point! 5/5 CRISPY SHRIMP CREPE ~ these were memorable! The inside had deep fried shrimp in a light batter that stayed crispy even wrapped around the rice crepe! 5/5 EGG CUSTARD BUNS ~ I love custard buns and egg tarts but chose the buns because the menu showed them as cute pigs (purple, yellow, pink!) but when I got them, they were weird looking pandas. What disappointed me more was the hard black eyes, ears and noses. It throws off the softness of the bun. Best to take them off before eating! Inside was a good custard filling. But if I ever come back, I'd choose the egg tarts over the buns! 3/5 COCONUT CAKE (jello) ~ perfect ending to our meal! I remember eating this years ago in tea houses and it had the same texture and taste! Very nostalgic for us! 5/5 All in all, we enjoyed their food. It's a bit pricey, but nowadays, most dim sum is on the pricier end for lunch. They add a 15% service fee so tip is included. They circled this on the bill so you see this charge. Roughly $35/pp.
